Petidor is an innovative blend of two French words, resulting in a new term with multiple meanings. It is inspired by the French expressions “Petit d’or” and “Petit dors”, pronounced the same way, meaning “little golden one” and “sleep, little one.” This unique distinction perfectly captures our mission: helping your precious baby sleep peacefully.

For example, all our baby swings come with a 5-point harness, and our cradles include multi-function features such as 7 extra springs and integrated links to prevent overstretching. We also run strict, regular durability and safety tests with additional internal quality controls. Simply put, we go above and beyond to make sure your baby is always safe.
Eco-friendly
We care deeply about our environment and strive for sustainable development. We work hard to minimize our ecological footprint and monitor all operations accordingly. All Petidor products are made primarily from eco-friendly, recyclable materials. Our packaging is reduced and environmentally friendly, with minimal use of plastic. We carefully choose suppliers and logistics partners based on eco-friendly practices and continuously promote sustainability as a core company value. Together, we can make a difference!

Our Story
How It All Began
We are Jacek, Jason, and Przemek – the founders of Petidor!
Jason was inspired to create Petidor when he became a father. While parenthood brought immense joy, he quickly discovered one major challenge: sleep.
Newborns face many adjustments after birth – from adapting to their new environment to going through developmental leaps, teething, and colic. No matter how hard parents try, sleepless nights are inevitable. And since a baby’s sleep directly affects the parents’ well-being, finding a solution became essential.
Jason noticed that one particular movement – a smooth up-and-down motion – had a calming effect on his baby. With his engineering mindset, he began exploring how to automate it. While some automated cradles existed, none met his high expectations for safety, quality, and sustainability.
That’s when the team came together. After months of research, testing, and collaboration, the first prototype was created. Through multiple iterations and refinements, the exceptional solution was born: the Petidor cradle.
